Impending Brother on Debut Today

Warwick Farm's meeting today will host the debut race day outing for a couple of notable youngsters including Dark Energy (Exosphere-Mnemosyne, by Encosta de Lago) in race one. The half-brother to Group 1 winner Impending (Lonhro), Group 3 winner Forget (Exceed and Excel) and Listed winner Epidemic (Lonhro) is out of dual Group 1 winner Mnemosyne. Trained by James Cummings for the Godolphin team, Dark Energy has trialled twice in preparation for today. Meanwhile in race two, 3YO filly Tycoon Hallie (Written Tycoon-Fiction, by Redoute's Choice) will make her debut, and the $650,000 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale graduate is trained by Chris Waller for owners BK Racing and BJ Vassallo. Tycoon Hallie's dam, Fiction (Redoute's Choice) is a half-sister to stakes placed winners Polaway (Giant's Causeway) and Lockroy (More Than Ready), with their dam being Gr1 Golden Slipper winner Polar Success (Success Express-Patou, by Covetous).
