  • New Service Offered by Glenesk Thoroughbreds

    Wednesday, 17th February 2021

After enjoying extremely positive results through the auction ring in the past few years, headlined by the $1.3 million and $1.1 million achieved, respectively, for broodmare prospects Invincibella (I Am Invincible-Abscond, by Galileo) and Villa Verde (Not A Single Doubt-Young And Free, by Kenmare), Brett and Rachel Howard of Randwick Bloodstock have decided to develop a new concept for their farm Glenesk Thoroughbreds which they feel will give owners the opportunity to increase their return on investment within the online auction space. "We want to become the first farm in Australia's to specialise in online auction consignment," revealed Howard. Offering a service whereby owners can send their horse(s) to be based at Glenesk Thoroughbreds where the requirements of the online auction – such as professional imagery and videography as well as well-researched comprehensive and accurate marketing copy – will be produced, they are confident their value-add service has the possibility to further highlight stock online with the premise of a higher purchase price being achieved for clients. Adding merit to the concept, the farm's location midway between Sydney and Scone is ideal for buyers to inspect sales prospects in the flesh.
