Weekend Black Type Premiership Schedule

One of the biggest days of the year in Victoria, in general, and for Melbourne Racing Club, in particular, is primed to unfold at Caulfield on Saturday. Boasting an all-star line-up of nine consecutive Group and Listed races, the occasion is headlined by a Group 1 triple act comprising the Futurity Stakes, Blue Diamond Stakes and Oakleigh Plate. The weekend’s considerable Black Type Premiership action, which also incorporates the hugely influential Gr2 Silver Slipper Stakes at Rosehill Gardens among 24 black-type events, will be kick-started on Friday night where Moonee Valley pays tribute to ill-fated super sprinting mare Typhoon Tracy.
