Sense of Déjà Vu Surrounding Snitzel Trajectory

Following a superb weekend where his progeny captured a juvenile Group race double in Australia and New Zealand (see above item), multiple champion sire Snitzel (Redoute’s Choice-Snippets’ Lass, by Snippets) appears to be making a move that has overtones of last year where he started to build strongly through February and March; at one stage he leap-frogged his rivals when going from thirteenth to second in a short space of time. Now fourth on the Australian General Sires table after the weekend, he was also the biggest Saturday mover on the Australian Black Type Premiership table where he joined the century club (stallions with 100-plus progeny points earned in 2020-21 stakes races). Although Snitzel had three yearlings catalogued for the current Inglis Melbourne Premier Sale, he has 45 lots catalogued for the Inglis Easter Sale among them 8 colts and 8 fillies in the Arrowfield consignment.
