Gr1 Golden Slipper winner Stay Inside (Extreme Choice-Nothin Leica Storm, by Anabaa) and Gr1 Blue Diamond Stakes winner Artorius (Flying Artie-Gracie's Lass, by Redoute's Choice) will both spell, reports racing.com. Anthony and Sam Freedman, who train Artorius, tweeted, "Blue Diamond winner Artoius will bypass the remainder of the Autumn carnival in Sydney & head to the spelling paddock. His spring campaign is yet to be decided but options include the Coolmore Stud Stakes or Caulfield Guineas. A decision will be made once he resumes racing." Meanwhile, Michael and Richard Freedman also announced Stay Inside would spell. "He's done such a fantastic job in such a short space of time and we felt it is the best decision for the horse's long-term future," said Michael Freedman. "He's done his job and we don't want to make the mistake of going back to the well once too often. The horse has pulled up really well but, collectively, we felt the best decision is to put him out now in really good nick." Blue Diamond and Golden Slipper placegetter Anamoe (Street Boss-Anamato, by Redoute's Choice) moves into a $2.80 favourite for the Gr1 ATC Sires' Produce with $7 on offer for both Hilal (Fastnet Rock-Salma, by Encosta de Lago) and Tiger Of Malay (Extreme Choice-Sambar, by More than Ready).
