Quality Juveniles to Clash at Geelong

Today's Thompson Creek Thoroughbreds Maiden Plate at Geelong features the debut outings for two high-priced yearlings. Star Killer (Snitzel-Euryale, by Lonhro) was sold by Three Bridges Thoroughbreds for $400,000 to Boomer Bloodstock at the 2020 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale and his dam is a Listed winning 2YO. At the same sale, Ostracised (Divine Prophet-Tellora, by Elusive Quality) was purchased by Ardross Bloodstock for $375,000 from the Lyndhurst Farm draft. He is a half-brother to stakes placed winners La Tigeresa (Street Cry) and Medieval Miss (Camelot). With the majority of the field having their first race day outing, the other 2YO of note is Godolphin's Heresy (Street Boss-Montsegur, by New Approach) who is the fourth foal of group winner Montsegur, herself a half-sister to group winner Tessera (Medaglia d'Oro) and Paulele (Dawn Approach).
