Stakes Race Insights at Lightning Speed

The increasingly highly-trafficked Black Type Premiership leaderboards and seasonal overview have had significant search capability added over the weekend. The pivotal enhancements, which operate at lightning speed, provide unique insights into the season’s black type performance of all runners, 2YOs, 3YOs, 4YOs+, WFA, sires, dams, trainers, jockeys, sales vendors and sales companies. With results appearing as readers are typing in key words, searches can also include idiosyncratic terms like Guineas, Derby, all races at a particular track or just WFA events. Ahead of consequential additions to stallion, sireline and stud farm information that will be launched shortly, a full new Sort Function has been created for all leaderboard pages. For example, 3YOs can be sorted by runner name, their category position, points, sire and position change. A multi-faceted search example from the 2020-2021 Australian Group and Listed Season is to type in Randwick which will bring up all Randwick stakes races in chronological descending order as default. For Randwick stakes-winners alphabetically, in Group and Listed order, by race name or by winner name, just tap the required heading and the information appears instantly with only Randwick-specific information.
