Exosphere Moves to Oaklands Stud

Fresh from the success of Peter and Paul Snowden's 3YO Exoboom (Exosphere-First Bloom, by Dylan Thomas) in last Saturday's Gr3 Hawkesbury Guineas, Oaklands Stud has announced that Lonhro's Gr1 Golden Rose winner Exosphere will stand the upcoming season at a fee of $4,950 (inc GST) at the Queensland property. Set to stand alongside resident sire Power (Oasis Dream) whose 27 stakes-performers are led by the Gr2-winning, Gr1-placed Laws Of Indices, Mighty Giant and La Force, Exosphere's oldest runners are just three and with the promising pair of stakes winners Thermosphere and Exoboom already creating a solid start for the impressive looking stallion, he should continue to receive outstanding support from Queensland breeders. Alistair Stewart, Oaklands Stud Co-Principal, stated, "With the support that Exosphere has already received, we believe he will make an immediate impact in the state and are excited by his future. However, we remain aware that these are challenging times for everyone. As such, we have priced our stallions with the view to offering value to breeders, many of whom are returning clients." Initially starting his stud career at Darley in the Hunter Valley, Exosphere has covered over 400 mares in his first four seasons at stud and having only had 78 runners to date, there are plenty of runners to come through the system.
