New (Sire) Column Adds Deep BTP Context

Over the weekend, a new column was added to the Black Type Premiership (BTP) tables, providing additional context to the multitude of success stories that have come out of the inaugural 2020-21 BTP season. As instructive as it is to be able to trawl through age-specific and even weight-for-age categories in order to ascertain which stallions are proving dominant, knowing which particular sirelines, specifically, are behind those successes is equally instructive. A good example is the 3YO category – Hungry Heart (Frankel) and Personal (Fastnet Rock) are still dead-heating on 63 points – where Danehill's sire-sons hold sway. Entering Danehill in the search bar, and then toggling (Sire) provides an immediate snap-shot, in alphabetical order, of each of his sons that have sired BTP seasonal points earners, as well as exactly who their progeny are and their points earned. For the record, those sons of Danehill are Al Maher (1), Blackfriars (2), Danerich (1), Exceed and Excel (6), Fastnet Rock (5) and Redoute's Choice (6). As important, it allows for an immediate overview of each stallion's performers and where their points have been earned.
