Spendthrift Australia's valuable 2YO filly Mac 'N' Cheese (Sebring-Bonnie Mac, by Thorn Park) is looking to add further success to the pedigree of her Exceed And Excel half-brothers, Gr1 Coolmore Stud Stakes winner and Vinery stallion Exceedance and the Gr3 Zeditave Stakes winner Oxley Road, when she has her second race day start on Wednesday, heading to the Clanbrooke Racing Handicap (1400m) at Lakeside Park. Narrowly defeated on debut when second behind All About Eve (Star Turn), who has since headed to town and was unlucky last Saturday, the Tony and Calvin McEvoy trained Mac 'N' Cheese will appreciate the step up in trip and from barrier nine of 10, jockey Luke Currie is likely settle back in the run. Purchased for $300,000 from the draft of Newgate Farm at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale, the juvenile filly is the third foal of the Listed-winning Thorn Park mare Bonnie Mac, a half-sister to Group 3 winners Intimate Moment (Dubawi) and Upham – Basic Trilogy (HK) (Mastercraftsman).
