Queensland apprentice Madeleine Wishart will ride in Adelaide this Saturday, taking advantage of a shortage of city class claiming jockeys in South Australia, reports racingsa.com.au. "Bobby El-Issa is the one to thank,'' Wishart said. "He rang up and asked me if I would be interested in going down there at carnival time and riding for Michael (Hickmott). I spoke to my manager, then had a good chat to Michael and he spoke to his main owner and that was that." Wishart will ride Allacciato (Niagara-Laced Up, by Keeninsky) in race three, Lady Bethany (Niagara-Ellington, by Express Duke) in race four, and Lido Beach (Denman-Sarasota Sunshine, by Oasis Dream) in race six for Michael Hickmott, as well as Dr Dee Dee (Dr Doute's-La Dreamer, by Flying Spur) for Darryl Dodson in race eight and Midnight Storm (Clangalang-Stellar Shamrock, by Alannan) in race nine for Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas. "Michael has given me a few nice rides," Wishart said. "His stable is going super and is at the top of the premiership."
