  • Skedaddle Should Fly at Kensington

    Wednesday, 16th June 2021

Trainer Les Bridge thinks his 3YO filly Skedaddle (I Am Invincible-Dal Dal, by Encosta de Lago) will be hard to beat at Kensington today in only her second raceday outing, reports racingnsw.com.au. She won her only start back in February and has had two trials (both wins) since then. "It's not hard (to make the step in class) if they're good enough," Bridge said. "She's trialled well, she's only had the one run and won it so she goes good. She'll run a really strong 1000m, they're going to have to beat her. She's been a slow developer that's all, she missed out on all the fillies races but she's grown a lot. Barrier trials are barrier trials but she trialled well in both of them. So if she can take the barrier trial form to the race she will be hard to beat." Skedaddle wasn't offered at auction, and her dam is a winning half-sister to Gr1 winner Speak Fondly (Northern Meteor) and Gr2 winner Wild and Proud (Snowland).
