  • I'm All The Talk Sets WA Second Season Record

    Friday, 23rd July 2021

Western Australia sire I'm All The Talk (Stratum-Weekend Gossip, by Hussonet) has broken the WA prizemoney record for a second season sire, reports tbwa.net.au. His 3YO progeny have earned $2.55 million in prizemoney, breaking the previous mark of $2,000,527 held by Oratorio (Stravinsky-Express a Smile, by Success Express) in 2009/10. Ironically the combination of these two record breaking sires has created a magical nick with an 88% winning strike rate. Trainer Steve Wolfe spoke about his 3YO group-winning filly Watch Me Dance (I'm All The Talk-Coventry to Rio, by Oratorio) saying, "She's clearly the best 3YO in WA. I like the progeny of I'm All The Talk. They work with you the whole way. There's not a negative about them." Watch Me Dance has won five of her 17 starts and $850,000, including the Gr1 WA Guineas. Another with the cross is WA Guineas runner-up Em Tee Ay (I'm All The Talk-Azita, by Oratorio) who has won three races and been twice placed fourth at Listed level in his last two starts. I'm All The Talk stands at Darling View Thoroughbreds for $6,600.
