First Outing for Full-Brother to Charge

Bold Tropic (Zoustar-Queen of the Falls, by General Nediym) will have his debut outing in Race 2 at Ballarat today. The 4YO entire is a full-brother to Gr3 Red Anchor Stakes winner Charge, who had five starts in Singapore as Armani, but is now back in Australia where he most recently ran in the Listed Ortensia Stakes in May 2021. Their 3YO full brother, Sunfall, won on Saturday at Flemington, and overall, Queen of the Falls has six winners from six to race. Queen of the Falls is a winning half-sister to group winner Elite Falls (More Than Ready). Bold Tropic was sold by Torryburn Stud at the 2019 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale for $480,000 and is now trained by Dan O'Sullivan. The early favourite for the race is Marimenko (Zoffany-Edaraat, by Rahy), a 5YO gelding from the Hawkes stable who hasn't raced since his only outing which was in Hong Kong back in December 2020.
