Their dam, Dextrous, was herself a Group 2 winner. Also on debut in this race is Dufresne (Hinchinbrook-Steflara, by Zabeel) and he is a 3YO half-brother to group placed city winning pair of Glissade (Redoute's Choice) and Pleiades (Redoute's Choice). Glissade is the dam of Group 1 winner Flit (Medaglia d'Oro). Dufresne was sold by Yarraman Park Stud for $170,000 at the Inglis Melbourne Premier Yearling Sale. The other debutant in the field is Edmonton (Vancouver-Marielle, by Lonhro) who was a $320,000 Gainsborough Lodge yearling graduate at the Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale. Edmonton's dam, Marielle (Lonhro-Cannarelle, by Canny Lad), is a winning half-sister to Champion Sire I Am Invincible (Invincible Spirit-Cannarelle, by Canny Lad).
