  • Stakes Double at Bendigo for Kah

    Monday, 29th March 2021

Jockey Jamie Kah continued her winning ways at Bendigo when she won both the Listed races on the card, reports racing.com. Fist up was 3YO filly Annavisto (Reliable Man-Avisto, by Tavistock) who won the Listed Bendigo Guineas. "She’s a quality horse and she’s been doing it a little bit upside down in the runs," Kah said. "They put the crossover on her and she was probably going to be a bit keen early so the idea was to just go with her. Once she got to the front she went lovely.” Now the winner of three of her six starts, Annavisto wasn’t offered at public auction. Kah also won the Listed Golden Mile Handicap on Ironclad (Dubawi-Heat Haze, by Green Desert), and it was the 5YO imported gelding’s fourth win in succession to leave him unbeaten on Australian soil for trainer Will Clarken. “He’s a very tough horse," Kah said of Ironclad. "You can see on the line that he was peaking but he was never going to let anything get past him. He’s got a good professional attitude about him. He’s a lovely horse.” Before being imported to Australia by Australian Bloodstock, Ironclad had two wins from eight starts. Kah also won on Fanciful Toff (Toorak Toff-Fanciful Bella, by Bellotto) to gain a treble for the day further enhancing was is proving to be a sensational season for the in-demand hoop.
