Connections Chasing Glasshouse Profit

Trainer Chris Anderson will be aiming to continue the solid form for his gelding Profit (Dundeel-Opportunity, by Redoute’s Choice) when he contests Saturday’s Listed Glasshouse Handicap (1400m) at the Sunshine Coast, a track the 4YO is unbeaten at with two impressive victories. With a full field of 18 plus two emergencies accepting for the $175,000 feature contest, Larry Cassidy should be able to give Profit a lovely run from barrier four, and further enhance his 1400m record with seven top three finishes from eight starts including two starts back at Eagle Farm. Although beaten into seventh position last time out, the Think Big Stud and partners-raced gelding was only three lengths from the winner Ranier (Lonhro) in the Listed Wayne Wilson (1600m), and the drop back to 1400m, from a good barrier should see the Arrowfield Stud yearling sale graduate right in the mix.
