After having purchased him from the Inglis Digital (Early) August Sale for $75,000 today, Queensland trainer Gillian Heinrich will hit the reset button on former $2.8 million glamour yearling Mount Fuji (Snitzel-Ichihara, by General Nediym). The exquisite-looking entire who is closely related to Group 1 performer Menari was one of the star attractions at Inglis' 2019 Australian Easter Yearling Sale, and although lightly raced with four career starts, he is yet to show his full potential on the racetrack. Heinrich is yearning to roll the dice on the 4YO entire: "It's quite a buy, quite a bargain. Let's hope we can get him back to the races,” she enthused. "We just saw him online, had a look at his form and, obviously he's had a throat op that seemed to go right, but we just thought we'd take a punt on him.” The delighted new owner-trainer advised, "We will have a look, he's been in work. We will give him a break then bring him back and start all over again!”
