Elite Colts Tackle Kembla's San Domenico

Last start winners of the Gr1 Golden Slipper and Gr1 Champagne Stakes, Stay Inside (Extreme Choice-Nothin Leica Storm, by Anabaa) and Captivant (Capitalist-Speedboat, by Commands,) are among headline runners for Saturday's exciting running of the Gr3 San Domenico Stakes at Kembla Grange. Both raced as part the stallion partnership headed by Newgate Bloodstock, China Horse Club Racing Pty Ltd, Horse Ventures, Newgate S F and Go Bloodstock Australia, the colts formed the cornerstone of the success of their Newgate Farm-based sires who finished first and second in the 2020-21 First Season Sire race. Won in the past by the likes of 2021 Widden Stud freshman stallion Anders (Not A Single Doubt), Exceedance (Exceed And Excel), Pariah (Redoute's Choice) and Foxwedge (Fastnet Rock), this year's running of the race also sees the Australian debut of New Zealand Gr1 Sistema Stakes winner Sword Of State (Snitzel), dominant Listed Rosebud Stakes winner Paulele (Dawn Approach) and Remarque (Snitzel), a full-brother to Gr1 Golden Slipper winner Estijaab (Snitzel). Not matter what the result come Saturday afternoon, the form from the race is sure to prove fruitful throughout the remainder of the carnival and should be followed.
